Grow into maturity, fall in love, get married, join the military, go to college, start a career. These are the striving points afforded us by God from the time we are born. The fulfillment of our life is our love and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Without him in your life, none of the above will suffice with your success.
This is a true story of one young man and one young woman whose destiny looked bright, beginning with their love for one another. How do you know if you have the right mate? You will know. The same way Edward and Barbara did at a fairly young age. Nothing could stop them from following the trail to matrimony.
Both were closely attached to their Christian beliefs. They believed without Christ in your life, there are no beginnings or end, and no purpose of family. The two never left Jesus out of their life for even one minute of every day.
After their consummation of marriage, the two lived a life of happiness and adventure. Children were definitely in their plans, but they wanted to get to know each other for a couple of years. But, it wasn’t long after their marriage; the couple started talking about kids. It started out as a gesture of affection for one another, but their complacent feelings soon advanced to reality.
Their first child was born almost two years after their marriage. They found out early what commitment really meant. Children fervently need parents’ attention. In only seven years, the family had multiplied to three children. The children's names are Courtney, Todd, and Kyle. Life was like a box of chocolates, or a bowl full cherries, you don’t know what you’ve got until you enjoy ever day life with them. The love for God and their children was astounding.
As we live one day at a time, things can go from good, to bad, to worse, to tragedy. With all the love in the world and protection you provide your kids, the years you spend talking to them and explaining all the dangers, it can be taken away in one short breath. How do you get through it? How do you overcome it? Follow me into the life of family love, and the after-effects it leaves and how you cope.
The story behind this book elaborates on one such family that travels a path of ups and downs, but they never lose sight of togetherness, love and support. They reached a higher echelon to bring the broken pieces back together.
